WorkingPoint Adds Payroll Partner

WorkingPoint logoNot everyone likes the name "netbook" for small notebooks, but the company formerly known as Netbooks made a quick shift. Now known as WorkingPoint, it relaunched this summer as a complete online management suite for small businesses. Much of it is completely free if you have only a couple of users. Premium features only cost a flat rate of $10 per month with unlimited users. That price includes extra report for taxes and accounting, collecting invoices payments via PayPal, and today's big news: a payroll service with Business Online Payroll from SurePayroll.

Actually, using Business Online Payroll itself costs an extra $49.99 a month too, but WorkingPoint says that's 50% less than competing, standalone payroll service. And obviously the data all ties in with existing WorkingPoint tools for invoicing, expenses, double-entry bookkeeping, and CRM-like contact management.

This is just the first of a few partnerships WorkingPoint has planned, maybe even with other payroll companies (the deal with SurePayroll is not exclusive). They're already teamed with Company Corp. for helping small business incorporate, Vertical Response for e-mail marketing, and Earn.com for entrepreneurial info. The WorkingPoint site says banking and e-commerce integration are on the way.
